Baruch holds a degree in Administrative Computer Science with more than 14 years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, and site reliability across regulated fintech, banking, and telecom environments. He has participated in projects for Telcel, BBVA, PEMEX, Grupo R, ALTÁN Redes, Telefónica, and Konfio, among others, working as infrastructure lead and cloud solutions architect.

At Bitso, he has served as technical owner of the hybrid on-premise/AWS infrastructure connecting the company's banking core to Banxico's SPEI settlement network, and led the disaster recovery platform that made Bitso the first IFPE institution in Mexico to achieve Article 50 compliance. He also builds agentic AI automation (Claude Code, custom MCP servers) to streamline engineering workflows, from automated PR generation to AI-driven infrastructure analysis.

His experience includes technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, VMware vSphere/vCenter, Istio, Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Datadog, CentOS/RHEL, Git/GitLab, and Bash/Python.

He currently works as a Staff Platform Engineer at Bitso.
